The Formentor peninsula is the wild northern tip of Mallorca: a narrow ridge of mountains and cliffs that ends at the Cap de Formentor lighthouse. Drivers for pick up and return from Palma airport to Alcudia were on time and friendly. No issues whatsoever. Van was spacious for our big group of 7 plus luggage and they provided a baby seat and booster seat for our kids. Perfect! Plus communication was brilliant via WhatsApp.
I had a group of friends visit me from England to celebrate my 50th birthday and I used Gold Transfers Mallorca for all of their airport transfers as we live in the North of the Island and also their chauffeur service for day trips out and I highly recommend them. Why does the Formentor transfer take longer than Port de Pollença?
After Port de Pollença the road climbs over the peninsula with many bends, so the last kilometres are slow. Allow around 70-75 minutes from the airport.
Can you take us to the Cap de Formentor lighthouse?
We drive to hotels and addresses on the peninsula. Access to the lighthouse road can be restricted for private vehicles in high season; if you want to visit it, ask us and we will tell you the best option for your dates.
