COOKIE POLICY
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies Gold Transfers Mallorca uses on this website, what for, who uses them and how you can accept, reject or withdraw your consent. The identity and contact details of the data controller are in our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) store and retrieve information on your device when you browse. They can be used, for example, to recognise you as a returning visitor or to understand how a website is used. The specific uses on this website are described below.
Cookies and storage used on this website
This is the complete list. Everything marked "only with your consent" is used only if you click Accept in the cookie notice; if you click Reject or do not answer, it is not used.
gt-cookies (own, stored in your browser, necessary, 12 months): remembers whether you accepted or rejected, so the notice is not shown on every page. It does not need consent.
gt-visitante (own, stored in your browser, analytics, 12 months, only with your consent): the date of your first visit, how many visits you have made and a random code, so we can count new and returning visitors and see which pages are viewed during a visit. It is deleted if you reject.
_ga and _ga_QGE8K9B46N (third party: Google Analytics, analytics, 2 years, only with your consent): distinguish visitors and sessions to produce statistics about how the website is used.
This website does not use advertising cookies or social media plugins: the links to our social media profiles are simple links and set no cookies until you visit those sites.
Visit statistics without cookies
To know how many people visit us, we count page views without cookies and without storing anything in your browser: only the page, the website you came from, the type of device (mobile, tablet or computer), the country and city worked out from your IP address, and the steps of the booking form are added up per day. Your IP address is used only at that moment and is never stored. To show which pages are being viewed right now, each open page sends a random code that is not stored in your browser and is forgotten after 30 minutes.
If you click Reject in the cookie notice (or later in Cookie settings), your browser stops sending these statistics too.
Who uses the information
Gold Transfers Mallorca: gt-cookies, gt-visitante and the visit statistics without cookies, on our own server in the European Union.
Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC): Google Analytics, only with your consent. More information: how Google uses cookies and Google's privacy policy.
International data transfers
Google Analytics may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, so the transfer is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Article 45 of the GDPR). You can check the certification at dataprivacyframework.gov. This only happens if you accept the cookies.
How long the data is kept
Cookies and stored items last for the periods listed above. Google keeps Google Analytics data for the retention period configured in our Google Analytics account (at most 14 months). Our visit statistics without cookies are kept only as daily totals, which do not identify anyone.
How to accept, reject or withdraw your consent
When you first visit the website you can click Accept or Reject. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings, which is also in the footer of every page. If you withdraw your consent, the Google Analytics cookies and gt-visitante are deleted from this website.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (for example Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge); the steps differ from one browser to another. If you reject cookies you can still use the whole website and book your transfer.
